Keep Your Dog Safe on the 4th of July Holiday

For many dogs, the first firecracker they hear sends them under the bed. They shake from nose to tail and whimper. A full-fledged neighborhood fireworks display can be even worse for a terrified canine.

When a dog is this frightened it is often no longer rational. Panicky dogs can even try to escape from safety - through the door or out a window. Some will even run away from home if not restrained.

1 to 4 cats in need of care during sabbatical leave

Dear Fellow Pet Lovers, We are a faculty family and have a leave of absence this coming school year. We will be living overseas during this time and cannot take our four wonderful cats.
